Saturday, April 18, 2020Residential Structure Fire
Turlock City Fire Department responded to the report of a working residential structure fire on the 2100 block of Mayfaire Drive at approximately 5:00 AM on April 18, 2020.Crews arrived to find smoke and flames showing from the residence and immediately commenced an aggressive interior attack while simultaneously conducting search and rescue. It was quickly determined there were no occupants inside the residence and the fire was extinguished without incident.
The property is the sight of a previous fire which occurred in mid-December 2019 however, the residence was unoccupied at this time.
Turlock Fire Department responded with Engines 31, 33, and 34, and Squad 32 along with Battalion 4, and Chief 3. Per the MCST agreement, Ceres Fire Department responded with Engine 15 and Battalion 3 to assist with fire control. Turlock Police Department and AMR also responded.
